This version of conversion downpipe is suitable for fitting any 1.8T engine with a K04 turbo into Mk2 and 3 Golfs, plus Corrados and Mk2 Seat Ibiza. It features a 2 piece design that allows easy fitment with the full engine and running gear in place. As with other versions it is professionally manufactured entirely from stainless steel and features a lambda probe boss and braided flexible section for excellent durability and maximum performance. Check here Important Fitting Notes The Mk2/3 K04 downpipe is only suitable when using the 02A/J gearbox and 02A engine and gearbox mounting brackets. For correct fitment ensure that all 3 02A engine and gearbox brackets are used since these position the engine 15mm further forward. Using other configurations may cause fouling. QPEng does not recommend using any type of heat insulation on it's downpipes. Not suitable for Passat/A4/A6 longitudinal engines
