Rotate and tweak throttle cable abutment bracket to ensure correct alignment. |
Connect clutch cable, speedo drive and vacuum hose to brake servo. Use half the 8v hose and half the 20v hose and all the one way valves. |
Cut original downpipe off here. Also separate flexi and incorporate into new downpipe. |

Downpipe needs a sharp turn to avoid the steering rack gaiter, the heat may affect the rubber boot and lubrication of the steering UJ if its too close

New engine harness as delivered from QPEng. Fit to engine and connect up as described in instructions. |
Fix MBE ECU to existing ECU holder in scuttle. Attach MAP sensor and connect into fuel pressure regulator line. Install ECU and MAP sensor.

Plug QPEng harness into the Digifant power connector shown. Turn ignition on and check that the fuel pump primes. |
If required the idle speed can be adjusted by removing the cover from the side of the throttle and bending the throttle stop slightly.
