Quantum Performance Engineering Ltd. was founded in 2003 by Ben Leach and Jonathan Saunders. The company specialises and has a large amount of experience in fitting and programming aftermarket engine management systems to all engine types. However, it is most famous for its work with the VAG 1.8T 20v engine. The introduction of their ‘Plug and Play ’ engine management conversion kit for the 1.8T range of engines in 2004 marked the beginning of a new era in road vehicle tuning and has since allowed many people with the opportunity to complete this engine conversion with minimum cost and hassle.
