CAN Interface Mapping Box for MBE 992 ECU |
Like all modern automotive systems the MBE 992 ECU transmits data across a CAN (controller area network) bus. This significantly increases the rate of data transfer compared to the serial link found on most other standalone EMS systems.
The interface box allows the connection of the 992 to your laptop via the USB port enabling anything from small tweaks to an existing calibration to full reprogramming of the unit. All programming is performed using the MBE Easimap 5 software, a CD of which is also included. Click here for screen shots A demo version of Easimap can also be downloaded here. The Easimap software also acts as a fully customisable active display, that can show the instantaneous inputs and outputs from the sensors and actuators, as well the correction factors applied by the ECU. There is also the option to integrate our wideband lambda system to give real-time on-screen lambda valves. Prices (All +VAT): | CAN interface mapping box and Easimap software | £200 | | As above plus integral on-screen wide band lambda display (w/o 7057 Sensor ) | £350 | | As above plus integral on-screen wide band lambda display (inc. 7057 Sensor ) | £400 | |
